Information Packet- Costumes, Hair and Makeup
COSTUME, HAIR, AND MAKEUP PACKET:

This packet is to be used as a guide for costume selection.  You will need to have the necessary items listed on the following pages for your character by Tuesday March 7th (Staff) and Wednesday March 8th (students).  These items will be in addition to the items that our costumers will provide for you.

We will be holding costume parades for each cast on Tuesday March 7th (Teacher Cast) and Wednesday March 8th (Both Student Casts) (2:55-6:00 PM).  This will give us plenty of time to review costumes and to change anything if needed before the first dress rehearsal.

You are asked to bring a costume box large enough to hold your makeup kit, head wear, costume parts not needing a hanger, socks and shoes. The box needs to have your name, character, and which cast clearly labeled on all sides of the box. It must also have a lid so that all items are secure. If you need a box, we have a limited number to give out. See Mrs. Daigle or Ms. Batista.

Costume Notes:
  • To make costume changes easier, all students will need a base layer that they will layer costume pieces on top of.  A white or tan tank top and bike shorts work best.
  • Some students are playing multiple characters so be sure to cross check ALL of your characters on the pages below.
  • There is no need to buy anything new or expensive!  Costume pieces might be cut, torn, or otherwise distressed during the show. Your personal suits and jackets will not be damaged.  Shopping at a thrift store will save you money.
  • If you are being given a costume then you are responsible for returning that costume. Be aware that many of our costumes will be borrowed or rented from other theaters and we have a responsibility to return them in good condition. If your costume is lost, comes back with missing pieces, or is significantly damaged, you are responsible for paying for a replacement.  Please sign and return the contract to indicate that you are aware of this policy.
  • You will also need to provide some basic makeup and hair accessories. Be sure to check the Hair & Makeup Information included in this packet. These items are due Friday, March 10th.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact  jhinton@npsct.org (costumes), enorwell@npsct.org (makeup) or tkuniewski@npsct.org (hair).
